Recipients can only receive one type of Package Zen notification: email, SMS, or Slack. You can determine which type of notifications a recipient gets by editing their Contact Preference.

Editing a Recipient’s Contact Preference

  • On the recipient’s Profile Page, choose Email, SMS, or Slack under Contact Preference

  • Select Save

  • If Off is selected, then notifications won't be sent. Only select this option if the recipient doesn't want to receive notifications.

Multiple Contact Methods

A recipient can only receive one type of notification.

But if the recipient’s Contact Preference is email, the recipient can have multiple email addresses in their Contact Info. Notifications will be sent to each email address when the recipient receives an item.
